About the Homestead

We are a family of stakeholders, hedging our bets on some borrowed land. As one member lays futures into the Willow soil, another suggests liquidating all of its assets. Inspiration and disappointment are so intertwined, a person can not experience one without expecting the other. Making us heros and martyrs, beggars and kings, depending on the day. Disappointment is hard to forgive and inspiration nearly impossible to corral; contentment, however, is ever present. Stretching beyond our capacity during the summer months and shrinking into small handfuls by winter. Evolution is rarely heralded by the sound of a satisfied sigh, but we endeavor to keep trying anyway. Hoping more of the path will reveal itself, if we get enough folks tamping it down with us.
